On Thursday the 08-08-13 at around 3.30 pm a male assailant entered a bottle shop at the Gateway Shopping Village in Langwarrin and showed the store attendant a weapon demanding cash. The store attendant refused to cooperate and indicated that they would call police and security at which time the offender fled on foot. Frankston Embona detectives are investigating the attempted armed robbery.
