On Saturday the 01-08-12 at around 6.00 pm a thirty-three-year-old male assailant robbed the Lilydale Retail Store with a weapon. The forty-three-year-old Shop Assistant was physically assaulted and sustained minor back injuries and treated at the Maroondah Hospital. The assailant was promptly arrested by police at a nearby location and due to appear at court on the 03-08-12.
