On Thursday the 13-09-12 at around 6.00 pm a male assailant in his twenties entered the Mooroolbark Convenience Store and threatened the teenage staff member with a machete. The assailant then walked behind the shop counter, pushing the staff member away, before fleeing towards Maroondah Highway.
On the same day an assailant armed with a gun entered the Mentone TAB at around 2.25 pm and threatened staff demanding cash before fleeing with an amount of cash.
