On Tuesday the 17-12-13 at around 10.30 pm two offenders entered the Newtown supermarket via the front doors carrying firearms and wearing balaclavas. One offender threatened a staff member while the other offender grabbed the cash register drawer before running from the supermarket. Geelong CIU are investigating the armed robbery.
