On Thursday 28 November 2013 at around 9.20 pm a man dressed in a pilgrim outfit entered the milk bar on Old Lilydale Road in Ringwood East and approached the front counter and demanded cash before producing a knife. The staff member refused to hand over any money and the armed assailant jumped on to the counter and pulled out the cash register. A second offender was standing watch at the door and both offenders then fled with the register. Maroondah Crime Investigation Unit is appealing for witnesses.
