On Thursday the 29th August 2013 just before 5.00 pm two assailants, one armed with a knife, entered the Subway restaurant in Beetham Parade in Rosanna and threatened two female staff members. The female victims handed over an amount of cash and the assailants fled the restaurant.
On the 31-08-13 at around 2.45 pm a male assailant armed with a knife entered the Subway restaurant at the Bell Street Mall in Heidelberg West and demanded money. No money was handed over and the assailant fled in a green coloured Toyota motor vehicle. Police believe that the same offender may have been responsible for armed robbery later that same day at a restaurant in Northcote.
