On the 31-03-19 at around 9.30 pm a male offender armed with a firearm and wearing an open-faced balaclava enter the Werribee gaming venue via the Werribee Street North entrance. The offender approached a staff member and made a demand for cash, threatening them with the firearm. The cashier gave the man a quantity of money and he left the premises via the same entry point. The offender was last seen getting into a white, older model sedan that was parked in a neighbouring street. Detectives from the Armed Crime Squad are investigating the armed robbery and are keen to speak to anyone who may have further knowledge of the incident.
