On Wednesday 24 August 2016 at around 7.30 pm a nineteen-year-old male was walking on the Princes Highway in Dandenong and as he turned into Scott Street five men jumped out of a parked car and approached him. The victim was punched to the face and when he fell to the ground kicked and stomped. The victim sustained a broken jaw and lost teeth. The offenders were described as being of Middle Eastern appearance, aged between seventeen and twenty-five years, slim to medium build, with dark features and thick accents. The vehicle was a silver Honda accord, possibly a 2000 or older model. Dandenong CIU are appealing for information.
