On the 13-04-18 just after 6.00 am a twenty-three-year-old male became involved in a verbal argument with an unknown man on Flinders Lane in Melbourne’s CBD. The offender grabbed the twenty-three-year-old victim from Altona Meadows in a headlock and punched him to the face causing him to fall backwards unconscious onto the concrete pavement before fleeing the scene. Witnesses came the victim’s aid who was promptly transported to hospital. The offender is described as being approximately 185cm to 190cm tall, solid build with short, light-coloured hair and wearing a plain black t-shirt, dark-coloured jeans and black shoes.
