On Saturday the 11th May 2013 at around 12.30 am a male left a licensed premise on Moorabool Street in Geelong and was standing near the road when a white Holden Commodore sedan containing four or five male occupants drove past and beeped the horn. The vehicle soon pulled over next to the male and an occupant alighted and punched the victim to his face causing him to lose consciousness and fall to the ground, striking his head on the footpath. The male assailant then got back into the motor and ran over the victim’s legs as they drove off. Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident.
