On the 17-03-19 at around 4.30am a fight broke out in front of a kebab shop on Moorabool Street in Geelong. A man from Western Australia, who was passing by at the time, attempted to calm the situation down when he was punched in the head by one of the men involved in the scuffle. The victim fell to the ground, striking his head on the pavement and losing consciousness, and was conveyed to a Geelong hospital with head injuries. Police arrested two Bell Park men, both aged 25 years, a short time later at a near-by Geelong address with one of the men bailed to appear at the Geelong Magistrates’ Court on 1 July.
