On Friday the 11th January 2012 a twenty-six-year-old male was physically assaulted and punched to the face outside the Lancefield Hotel in the Macedon Ranges. The victim fell to the ground and sustained a fractured skull. A twenty-two-year-old male was arrested by police and is due to face the Kyneton Magistrates Court in March 2013.
