On the 23-10-15 between 4.30 pm and 5.00 pm a twelve-year-old girl alighted from a tram at the intersection of Edgewater Boulevard and Gordon Street in Maribyrnong. A male followed her off the tram and along Edgewater Road before grabbing her by the wrist. The young girl managed to escape and fled to her home pursued by the offender who banged on her front door before leaving the property. The offender was described as being of Indian sub-continental appearance, aged between thirty-six and forty-two years, 182cm tall with solid build, a large hooked nose, short spiked black hair in a Mohawk style and unshaven wearing a long sleeved orange hi-visibility top, dark-coloured work pants and work boots.
