On the 10-08-13 a forty-three-year-old man was on the pedestrian bridge over the Princes Highway in Newborough armed with a knife. Police attended and when the assailant threatened police officers he was tasered and arrested and taken to the Morwell police station where he was charged with assault and then taken to the Latrobe Regional Hospital for assessment.
