On the 21-08-15 at around 6.40 pm a twenty-eight-year-old woman was walking home from work through Austin Crescent Reserve in Pascoe Vale when she was suddenly approached from behind by a male. The female victim was grabbed around her neck and thrown to the ground. The victim then screamed for help and the offender fled running through the reserve. The offender was described as being just over 165cm in height and was wearing a pulled up black hooded jumper.CIU detectives from Moonee Valley are investigating the assault in the Pascoe Vale park.
