On Sunday the 9th June at around 9.00 pm a police officer attempted to arrest a twenty-one-year-old male who had just previously assaulted a Mulgrave resident after opening his door to the assailant. The assailant resisted police arrest resulting in the police officer sustaining a broken thumb and an injured shoulder.
