On the 13-06-16 at around 3.20 am a twenty-two-year-old Wendouree man was walking home along Peel Street when he noticed a silver motor vehicle following him. A male aged in his early twenties alighted and assaulted the victim with what appeared to be a tyre iron demanding the victim’s mobile phone and wallet. The victim handed over his wallet and mobile phone and the offender fled in the same vehicle travelling on Rowe Street. Ballarat CIU detectives are appealing for public assistance.
