On Wednesday, 12th June 2013, just after midnight a young man had left a party on Jells Road in Wheelers Hill and was waiting outside to be collected by his father when he was approached by a gang of up to ten African males. The gang physically assaulted the male, who sustained cuts and bruises, before stealing his mobile phone. Glen Waverley police are investigating the incident.
