On the 14-05-16 a male assaulted a woman in a shop on Bell Street in Pascoe Vale South while attempting to steal an item from her.
The offender then proceeded to a nearby fast food restaurant where he assaulted three staff members.  An off-duty police officer intervened and was also assaulted receiving minor injuries.

Police from Moonee Ponds soon arrived and while attempting to arrest the offender the offender kicked a police officer to the face.

The 28-year-old offender from Strathmore has been charged with assault together with multiple other offences whilst on bail and was remanded overnight to appear before the Melbourne Magistrates Court.
