On the 23-05-13 at around 8.20 am an eleven year-old girl was the victim of an attempted abduction as she walked to school in Greensborough. The young victim was approached by a male aged in his forties to fifties soon after she was dropped off by her mother near her school. The assailant grabbed the young girl and dragged her towards his graffiti covered van before she was able to fight her way free. Police are appealing for witnesses.
