On the 31-03-14 at around 3.40 pm a male aged in his fifties or sixties asked a fifteen-year-old girl to assist him with his motor vehicle. The teenager obliged and the offender then forced her into his motor vehicle where he assaulted her. The young female managed to escape and run home and the police were called and was later treated at the Wodonga Hospital. The motor vehicle was described as being a late model black sedan with tinted windows. Wodonga Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives are investigating the attempted abduction and assault.
