On Sunday the 16-03-14 at around 12.30 pm an eighty-two-year-old woman was walking through a Geelong supermarket car park when she was approached from behind by an unknown male assailant who grabbed her handbag and pulled her to the ground at the same time. The elderly female victim sustained bruising to her hip and shoulder and was treated at the Geelong Hospital. Geelong police are appealing for any witnesses.
