On the 30-10-15 just after 9.30 pm a forty-eight-year-old woman was walking her dogs alongside the Calder Highway in Big Hill when she was attacked by an unknown male. The female victim was grabbed from behind and a weapon was held to her throat. A struggle ensured during which the victim was able to break free and ran onto the highway flagging down a passing motorist. Police are appealing for public assistance.
