On the 30-11-14 two men who came to the aid of their girlfriends inside a Brunswick Nightclub were later seriously physically assaulted by a gang of males as they left the venue at around 1.20 am. The offenders, one of whom had been removed from the nightclub by security as a result of the incident, knocked the victims unconscious and then kicked them to the head while they lay on the ground. The two victims, both aged in their early twenties, were transported to hospital. Moreland police are investigating the assault.
