On June 24th 2013 at around 9.30 pm a female arrived at her Mentone home with her children to notice an internal light on and an access door from the garage into the house open. The female then entered her home to be confronted by a male offender in her hallway. The offender quickly turned off the internal light and the victim fled and ran to her neighbour’s home together with her children and called the police.
