On the 12-12-06 at around 8.00 pm a fifty-year-old Melton man assaulted a neighbour and threatened the police with a knife when they arrived. The male then barricaded himself in the house with an eighteen-month-old boy before police stormed the house at around 2.00 am and arrested the male.
