A recent study of teenage students found that ‘cyberbullies’ were more likely to fall into crime and that their victims were more likely to be depressed and inflict self-harm with around 15% of the Year 9 Victorian students surveyed admitting to cyberbullying in the past year with 21% of the victims being girls and 12% being boys.
