On Saturday the 6th September 2014 at around 2.30 pm an eighteen-year-old female was walking along the Dandenong Creek Walking Trail in Doveton when an unknown male approached and indecently assaulted her. The teenage victim pushed the assailant away and managed to flee. The assailant is described as being of Middle Eastern appearance and in his twenties. Dandenong SOCIT police are appealing for information from the public.
