On the 07-08-14 at around 7.20 pm a male wearing a black balaclava and armed with a firearm entered the Gaming Venue on Main Road in Eltham and approached the gaming attendant. The assailant jumped the counter demanding cash and then assaulted the staff member before stealing a substantial amount of cash and fleeing through the hotel car park. The assailant was described as being Caucasian, aged between thirty to forty years, 170 cm tall and of solid build. Detectives from the Armed Crime Squad are appealing for witnesses.
