On the 26-11-15 at around 12.30 am three teenage boys were walking home along New Street in Hampton when they were approached by six males. One eighteen-year-old boy was punched to the head as he ran for help with another eighteen-year-old boy sustaining serious head injuries and was later treated at the Alfred Hospital. The offenders stole the teenager’s mobile phone and bank cards before fleeing the scene in a dark coloured motor vehicle. Glen Eira Bayside CIU are investigating the assault and robbery and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
