On Friday the 05-06-15 just after 2.00 am a male offender armed with a tyre iron entered the service station on Frankston Flinders Road in Hastings and demanded cash from the shop attendant. The offender then attempted to jump the counter and as he was doing so the shop attendant pushed him back and the offender attempted to strike the attendant with the weapon. The offender then fled the service station to a waiting Holden station wagon being driven by an accomplice.
