Over the past year there have been six armed robberies committed against Hungry Jacks Restaurants in Victoria and police believe that the same male offender aged in his thirties may be responsible for all the robberies.
On the 24-06-11 at around 4.45 am a male offender armed with a knife entered the Hungry Jacks restaurant in Burwood, jumped the counter and demanded money from the staff.
On the 24-07-11 at around 11.15 pm a male offender again armed with a knife entered the same Hungry Jacks restaurant in Burwood and again jumped the counter and demanded cash from the manager.
On the 01-09-11 at around 10.00 pm a male offender again armed with a knife entered the Hungry Jacks restaurant in Forest Hill threatening staff and stealing cash.
On the 04-11-11 at around 8.50 pm a male offender entered the Burwood Hungry Jacks Restaurant and jumped on the counter threatening staff before stealing cash.
On the 03-02-12 at around 6.25 am a male offender entered through a drive thru window of the Hungry Jacks restaurant in Mount Waverley and threatened staff before leaving with money from the cash register.
On the 24-08-12 at around 6.00 am a male assailant smashed the front door of the Burwood Hungry Jacks Restaurants before crawling through the broken door threatening staff with a knife and stealing cash from the register drawers.
