On Saturday the 12th January 2013 at around 6.00 pm a thirty year old man was fishing at the Jack Roper Reserve when he was approached by another male who started up a conversation. Some time later the victim decided to leave and as he was doing so he was indecently assaulted by the male. The victim described the assailant as being of Islander appearance and aged in his mid forties. Fawkner SOCIT are investigating the assault.
