On Monday the 15-09-14 at around 9.15 am a twenty-six-year-old male was approached by three teenagers, a boy aged fifteen years, and two girls aged fifteen and seventeen years, and threatened with a weapon on the grounds of La Trobe University. A passerby witnessed the incident and came to the victim’s aid allowing him to escape. Police arrested the three teenagers shortly after the incident and they have been charged with attempted armed robbery to appear at a children’s court.
