On the 04/01/15 at around 12.40 pm an accommodation centre staff member was exiting a Swanston Street building through the rear exit when he was confronted by an unknown male who punched him to the face. The thirty-seven-year-old victim from Hughesdale sustained minor facial injuries. Melbourne East police are investigating an assault.
