On the 02-04-14 at around 7.00 am a forty-seven-year-old male was shot dead to his upper torso during his morning walk some one hundred meters from his home. A passing truck driver discovered the body and unsuccessfully tried to revive him. Police described the murder as a ‘brazen, high-risk crime in the middle of a suburban street’. Family members were very aggrieved indicating that they believed they knew who the offender was and demanding the police take action.
