On Friday the 31-08-12 at around midnight an adult female was physically assaulted after a fight broke out at a teenage party. The victim said that she was collecting her teenage daughter from the party when a sixteen-year-old male, being pursued by a group of others, ran into the back of her motor vehicle. The back window of the vehicle was smashed as the group were attempting to drag the sixteen-year-old from the back seat. The adult female then exited her motor vehicle in an attempt to protect her daughter who was standing nearby when she was punched to her head. Meanwhile the sixteen-year-old jumped into the front seat and sped off. There were up to thirty teenagers consuming alcohol at the party at the time. Police said that the adult residents may be fined for allowing underage people to consume alcohol at their home.
