On Tuesday the 22-01-13 a fifty-one-year-old man was seriously physically assaulted with a weapon in Buchan. The victim sustained multiple fractures to his head and body and was taken by air ambulance to the Royal Melbourne Hospital in a critical condition. East Gippsland CIU detectives investigating the assault and are appealing for public assistance.
