On the 23-04-12 at around 9.30 pm a twenty-nine-year-old Bendigo man was waiting for a tram in Hawthorn when a confrontation with two male assailants arose who followed him onto the tram where he was threatened with a knife before the assailants alighted and fled. The victim sustained only minor physical injuries.
