On the 03-02-12 at around 10.00 pm an eighteen-year-old male was seriously physically assaulted while walking to a friend’s home in Wantirna South. The victim said that the three assailants approached him as he walked past the skate park and then attacked him for no apparent reason. He said that the assailants appeared intoxicated. The victim was knocked unconscious and sustained a fracture jaw which was later treated surgically at hospital.
