On Sunday the 16-09-12 at around 4.00 am a twenty-eight-year-old male was found lying in a pool of blood in Mornington following a suspected serious physical assault. A passerby found the male and quickly called for assistance. The victim suffered lacerations to his face and head and was flown by air ambulance to the Alfred Hospital in a serious condition. The victim is from NSW and was in Mornington for work. Police are investigating the incident.
