On the 17-08-12 just after midnight a sixty-four-year-old woman withdrew money from an ATM in Morwell and as she was returning to her motor vehicle she was punched to the head by a male assailant. The victim fell to the ground and the assailant then repeatedly kicked her before fleeing with her hand bag and the cash. The victim was treated at the Latrobe Regional Hospital.
