On the 19-08-12 at around 2.30 am a twenty-six-year-old male was approached by an unknown male assailant in South Yarra who proceeded to slash the victim to the neck with a box cutter. The assailant then fled and the attack was described as unprovoked. The victim was treated at The Alfred Hospital with serious injuries.
