On the 31-05-12 at around 6.00 pm a twenty-year-old male was walking towards the Thomastown Railway Station when he was set upon by an unknown male assailant who punched him to the face and head resulting in the victim sustaining injuries to his eye and head requiring treatment at the Northern Hospital.
