On the 15-10-12 at around 5.45 pm three male assailants approached the twenty-three-year-old male victim in the street and proceeded to assault him with a cricket bat. The victim suffered serious facial fractures and was taken to the Austin Hospital. A green Holden Commodore motor vehicle was seen in the area at the time according to police.
