On the 11-08-12 at around 12.30 am a twenty-year-old male was seriously physically assaulted at a Traralgon bar. The victim sustained head and spinal injuries and was transferred to the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne for treatment.

At around the same time a twenty-six-year-old man was physically assault outside a Melbourne CBD nightclub. The victim was later treated at the Royal Melbourne Hospital and is in a stable condition.
