On Wednesday the 30th January 2013 at around 7.30 pm a seventeen-year-old boy was at the Quarry Hills Park look out in Epping when he was struck from behind causing him to fall to the ground. The victim was then sexually assaulted and punched to the face by the male assailant causing him to lose consciousness. The victim was found unconscious by a couple passing by who called for police and an ambulance and he was taken to hospital with cuts and abrasions. The assailant is described as being of Asian appearance and aged between twenty-five to thirty years. Epping SOCIT police are investigating the matter and are appealing for witnesses.
