On the 19-04-13 at around 5.45 pm a female was jogging through Burndap Park in Maribyrnong when a male rode past her on a bike. The male then got off his bike and approached the female before punching her to the face and then leading her into adjacent parkland where she was sexually assaulted. Footscray detectives are appealing for witnesses.
