On the 28-06-12 at around 4.30 pm a stolen motor vehicle containing three teenage males crashed into two police vehicles in Dandenong, following a high speed chase,  resulting in a female police officer’s leg being crushed between the motor vehicle and the door as the assailants attempted to escape. The police officer was admitted to hospital with serious injuries and the assailants were charged.
