On Sunday the 09-08-15 at around 2.00 am a seventy-year-old male was having a cigarette in the backyard of his home in Ashton Street Reservoir when he was approached by an unknown male. The offender marched the elderly victim into his bedroom where the offender tied him up and gagged him and assaulted him resulting in facial injuries and was later treated at the Austin Hospital. The ransacked the victim’s home stealing a number of war medals, coins, a Jag watch, DVD player and baseball cards.
